We're now accepting contributions to the June issue of 'Mallard' - to be sold at Travelling Man (Newcastle), Gosh! Comics (London), Deadhead Comics (Edinburgh) and at various conventions.

If you'd like to contribute, please contact Tom and the team at mallardsmallpress@hotmail.com.
We print black & white, A5; comics should be no longer than 4 pages in length, and short stories should be short.

'fragments', a new collection by Tom England & Christopher Leahy, is due to be launched at the 'Thing' Convention in London, March 28th. It comprises of four comics by Tom alongside four prose peices by Christopher, all of which examine different aspects of the river running through their characters' lives.

To celebrate this, we're giving away TEN FREE COPIES! YES! WOW!

We'll put the entries into a hat, and the first ten picked out will get their free copy in the post! Easy!

Well,

Turns out it's the Edinburgh comics/zine con on 25th-26th July. And turns out Mallard Small Press are definitely gonna be there! Tom England and Christopher Bernard Leahy will be rocking up with a bag of minis and 'Mallard's, and hopefully we're going to flog them for all they're worth. Hoorah!

Wahay - 'Mallard' #4 on it's way!

How exciting! All the submissions are either in or on their way, the cover's done - so July's 'Mallard' should be whacked out in a couple of week's time!

Inside will be work by Tom England, Christopher Bernard Leahy, Joe Baddeley, Dan Bloom, Matt Fletcher, Christopher Geary, Matt Evry, Harry Nordlinger and Dan Dyer - some of whom are regular contributers to 'Mallard', and some of whom are being published for the first time.

The July issue will be available via mail order, from Travelling Man stores in the UK, and at Oxford's 'Caption' convention in August and Leeds' 'Thought Bubble' convention in November. Hooray!
